Signature espresso bar in Bridgeland
Espresso pulled from beans roasted ten metres behind the bar, the signature espresso bar at HappyDealsClub is where each new roast gets its first public tasting.

Coffee that went through the drum this week
The bar and the roast room share one wall of glass, one grinder line and one rule: nothing older than five weeks touches the hopper.
Two machines run the bar, a two-group workhorse for the morning queue and a single group for decaf and experiments. The house espresso is our Side Door blend, built for milk drinks; the second grinder rotates through whatever single origin survived cupping that week.
Seats are a mix of a long bar, two communal tables and a window bench that regulars treat like assigned seating. Wi-Fi is fast, plugs are everywhere, and nobody will side-eye a two-hour laptop session on a Tuesday afternoon.
- House blend plus a rotating single-origin on the second grinder
- Milk from an Airdrie dairy; oat and lactose-free stocked
- Pastries baked two blocks away, delivered at 7:30
- Free sparkling water with every espresso, ask, we insist
The 8 AM shift
Every drink is re-dialed each morning before we open, and shots are weighed, not eyeballed. If your cup tastes off, tell the bar, we remake it on the spot, no receipt drama. That's been the house policy since day one.
Bar menu prices
Everything under seven dollars, everything made to order.
The Morning Card
Ten drinks, prepaid, any size. Regulars burn through one every two weeks; it saves about a dollar a visit and skips the morning tap queue.
$42Alt milk +$0.50. Bring your own cup and we knock off a quarter, it adds up.
From order to cup in four minutes
The bar looks casual because the boring parts are systemized.
Grind to order
Beans go into the hopper the same morning they're ground. Nothing sits overnight in the doser.
Weigh the shot
18 grams in, roughly 36 out, timed. The recipe gets tweaked daily as the roast ages.
Steam to 55 degrees
Hot enough to be sweet, cool enough to taste. Milk gets one chance, burnt milk goes down the drain.
Pour and serve
Latte art when the queue allows it, speed when it doesn't. Either way the cup lands warm.
Taste the last shot
At close, the barista pulls one for the crew. If tomorrow's recipe needs a tweak, it happens before lock-up.

The bar crew
Four baristas, one head barista, zero egos.
Sam runs the bar and trains every new hire personally, six weeks of shifts before anyone touches the grinder alone. The crew competes in latte art throwdowns mostly for the jokes, though Priya did take home a medal last spring.
