Roast dates printed on every bag
Supermarket coffee can sit for months. Ours sits for days, long enough to degas, short enough to matter.
The shelf holds three to five lots at a time: one blend built for espresso, a filter-friendly single origin, a decaf that doesn't taste like regret, and whatever seasonal microlot we couldn't resist. Bags are stamped with the roast date and a recommended brew recipe.
The subscription is two bags a month, our pick, shipping included across Canada. It skews toward whatever just came off the drum, subscribers drank the Huila lot two weeks before it hit the bar.
- 340 g and 1 kg bags, whole bean or ground to order
- Roast date and brew recipe printed on every label
- Subscription ships Canada-wide, pause anytime
- Empty bag returns get a $1 refill discount
Friday's shelf
Every bag carries its roast date. If a bag somehow reaches you past four weeks, shipping delays happen, tell us and the next one's free. Coffee older than five weeks never leaves the building anyway; it becomes staff coffee.
Beans & subscription prices
Priced per bag, roasted per week.
The Roaster's Pick
Our monthly favourite plus an experimental microlot, with a tasting card. It's how we justify buying weird coffees, you get first pour.

How a bag reaches your shelf
Two roast days a week keep the calendar honest.
Pick your coffee
Blend, single origin or roaster's pick. Not sure? The shelf tags describe taste, not poetry, chocolate, stone fruit, that kind of thing.
We roast Tuesday or Friday
Orders group into the next roast day. Nothing ships from stock that's been sitting around.
Rest and pack
Bags get one-way valves and a roast-date stamp after a day of degassing.
Grind if you need it
Tell us your brewer and we grind for it, espresso, moka, filter, French press. Whole bean keeps longest, though.
Pick up or ship
Café pickup is free from 7:00. Canada-wide shipping lands in 2–4 days, subscriptions included.

Dana runs the drum
Our head roaster has logged more than 4,000 batches on this machine.
Dana came up through the café side, then apprenticed under a roaster in Vancouver for a year. Every profile on the shelf is hers, she still hand-writes the batch log even though the software records everything, because the handwriting catches what sensors miss.
